Julian glanced at Erin looking at her. She was beautiful. He'd heard about the Rooney's. Who hadn't. But he'd never had seen a picture of Mr. Rooney's daughter.

"Pleasure to finally know your name, Erin." He smiled at her before glancing back at the road and pulled out of the police station.

He drove the speed limit although most of the time he didn't, but he had Erin in the car and he didn't want to scare her.

He pulled up to the front of the art gallery and gave the valet his keys. "Be extra careful with her." He smiled at the valet then went around to offer his arm to Erin.

She smiled and was fairly relaxed the whole way there, she got out of the car and let him take her arm walking into the gallery, she looked around and was greeted by a few people, she looked at a sculpture and then looked around.

"So do you like art?"

She said walking with him through the gallery looking at some pieces.

Julian nodded. His blue eyes were all on her as he spoke. "I'm mainly into fine scultpure pieces, big and small." He had several sculpture's in his house. Mainly greek sculptures of gods and goddess'.

And because of the other night, I believe you are an artist to this degree as well." He asked her though put it in a statement for he was sure he was right.

"I am, My father wasn't too impressed with my choice of profession but now i think he sees that it can be quite a good place to be"

She said to him as she smiled at a few people, it was nice to be known some places she went but often it was good to be left alone.

"I paint, I have done a few scultures before and i have tried pottery but i am better with painting and sketching"

Erin was good at life like renditions of places and people. she blushed a little noticing he was looking at her, he was handsome and a very impressive man.

"Yes, art can be lucrative. I know of many that have fine taste in art and I'm one of them as I told you. It pleases the eye and adds glimpses of our interests in our homes." He smiled at her as he moved to a painting that was beautiful.

Erin nodded, she agreed she liked to portray life in her paintings, painting people who didn't know they were being painted was the best one. She looked at the painting he had walked towards and admired it too. a waiter came around with glasses of champagne and Erin took one.

Julian took a glass as well. He clinked her glass. "To your safety." He smiled at her his eyes held hers appreciatively.

He took a sip and glanced around the room at the rest of the art. Then one grabbed his attention. A gorgeous sculpture of a goddess. Goddess of Artemis. He walked towards it and glanced at it admiringly. He wouldn't mind having it. Too bad he couldn't purchase it.

He asked Erin, "You wouldn't happen to know who did this?"

Erin had lingered behind to look at a painting she had seen of a waterfall. she looked over the piece and heard him call her she walked over looking at the piece and nodded.

"I do, all of the art here is owned by one man, it is his private collection and he put it on show. he owns a few of my pieces. I'm sure i could find him, I think the piece was actually Sculpted by his newest wife"

She said with a genuine smile. Erin was glad she had found someone who liked art but wasnt an artist or gallery worker it was nice to get some one elses input.

Julian smiled at her and offered her his arm while they walked throughout the gallery admiring pieces of art. "Is any of your paintings here? Or is this only your friend's show?" He asked her as he glanced at her. She was so beautiful. She must be taken, he thought. But he doubted she would be one to be with another man if she already had one so maybe she was single. He was surprised at his thoughts though. He'd only met her twice and he wanted to be more than a friend to her. He smirked inwardly. He wasn't normally like this. It was just something about her.

Erin said as she walked through the gallery with him, she stopped infront of a portrait of a horse that was clearly well bnred, it had been a personal painting for him of his beloved horse.

"This is one of mine, though it isnt my usual style since it was posed for"

She said showing him the horse. it was different from most of the more surreal peices in the gallery. Erin too was finding herself looking at julian out of the corner of her eye. he was interesting alot more open than other men.

"It's really good. You have exceptional talent." Julian said as he admired the painting a little closer. He would be interested in seeing more of her work. She was damn good.

He glanced at his watch. "Care to go get some coffee after we are finished here? I seem to have a craving for some caffeine." He smiled at her.

Erin agreed, she would of liked some coffee and maybe a cake of some sort. She looked around it was pretty busy so she doubted they would be missed if they slipped away.

"We should leave before it empties out,"

She said lightly tugging him towards the door, she looked at a few more pieces on the way out, once outside the doors she stopped and enjoyed the crisp night air.
