Blood dripped onto the lfoor of the library and rayne staggered in her feed draggin behind two vampires flanked her and diego as they entered. one went ot fetch soem blood they kept in the castle and the other sort of hovered around. Rayne took a seat on the sofa trying tor elaxc and be strong. she grabbed at the cup of blood handed to her by one of the vampires and drank it quickly recovering some stregnth she felt the wounds slowly closing.

Diego had quietly slipped out after leaving a note with one of her vampires. He really liked Rayne and to bring harm to her was something he didn't want to do. So he would leave town. But after the danger to him was gone, he would return to see how she was.
Rayne,
I apologize for everything. I should have told you from the beginning. You are a wonderful woman and because of the feelings I have for you. I will leave your town and take my danger with me. Know I regret not telling you. Again I am truely sorry you were hurt by my actions.
